How to use
How to use
Step 1: Apply to dry, freshly cleansed, lightly exfoliated skin with our Application Mitt using long, sweeping circular motions. Smooth on evenly and blend thoroughly. Use sparingly around knuckles, knees, ankles and elbows.
Step 2: For a LIGHT bronze, leave on for one hour. For a MEDIUM bronze, leave on for two hours. For a DARK bronze, leave on for three hours. While you can leave on the skin for up to eight hours, no longer than three is necessary for a DARK tan.
IMPORTANT: Leaving on the skin for longer than eight hours could cause unnatural looking results.
Step 3: At your desired shower time, rinse in lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Soap, scrubs, shampoo, and conditioner are not recommended during your rinse, nor any moisturizer following. This is to ensure the ultimate results as your color will still be developing. After eight hours, resume the use of oil-free soap and a daily moisturizer to prolong and maintain your tan.

I first bought Illusion Bronze for the first time in 2023 and really enjoyed it! Over the last year I had tried some other formulas and they just did not cut it in terms of ease of use, tone, and wear like illusion bronze! I am fair and blonde and always get compliments!! The photo I included is after leaving it on for 3 hours and only one coat! I do like to layer another coat the following day for a lil extra color. I trust this formula so much I'll be using it for my wedding day
As someone with fairer skin and features, other brands like Saint tropez and even air brush in a salon were always way too dark for me! I’ve been using Illusion Bronze for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love it! It’s the perfect natural shade I was always aiming for but could never achieve with my old products.
I will admit this is only the second brand that I’ve tried, but the difference is night and day. I was using Il Makiage for a while and although I liked it, I felt like it pulled quite orange on me. This was a perfect, beautiful, realistic tan with absolutely zero orange undertone. I left it on for 3 hours and it was not too dark at all. It’s also faded so beautifully and I don’t feel like I have to scrub my skin raw to get splotchy patches out of my skin. I am a convert!
I have tried so many self tanners over the years and this is BY FAR the best! I’m as white as they come, and I don’t tan well in the sun. Tanning beds worked pretty well for me, but I don’t like to go anymore due to the fear of skin cancer. This doesn’t leave you orange AT ALL, it’s a super natural bronze. It doesn’t have a strong odor and once you take the first shower any smell totally goes away. I love that it’s a custom shade for you. 100/10. My favorite!! I’m totally obsessed!
I could not be more happy with this, I never thought self tan would work for medium tan skin tones so this was my very first experience using self tanner and I am hooked lol. It gave me an even bronze, like a glow from within and now I’m looking for a way to get my makeup to match this glow, i especially appreciate the way it evens out my hyperpigmentation on my inner thighs and makes it a lot less noticeable. I’ve seen all the dupes on the market based off this product but I absolutely trust this creators product due to their shown dedication and hope that many more can experience illusion bronze!!
